Best Guitar for Blues/Jazz?
I'm a metal guitar player but i already have a les paul, a kh 202, and a strat (fake). I want a guitar to play blues/jazz cuz my guitar teacher is a jazzist and i would like a variety in my guitar collection. i'm 14 by the way. I acually play at a college level. My Amps include a Randall half stack and a Marshall halfstack
It depends, as blues and jazz, although both derived from similar roots are both quite different. As for a guitar that could be a mediator between the two, a safe bet would be a Gibson ES-335. You will most likely want a hollow body guitar, as jazz requires a hollow body for proper projection and depth and they also sound good in a blues context. You might want to try out other hollow bodies as well or even go for a resonator.
Also, you said you play at a college level, have you done any exams and do you know proper theory as in modes (Phrygian, Aeolian, Dorian, Mixolydian etc?)and other more complicated theory elements? As I've done all my exams and blues and jazz were a requirement as you needed to play a versatile range of styles. I'm surprised you haven't gotten into it as of yet.

are those mini keyboards for the ps3 controllers good?
they look really handy, i hate trying to juggle a full-size keyboard, i often take breaks from games & chat & message friends. couple questions tho, do they drain the controller battery a lot faster? is it easy to type on or do the sticks get in the way or is it really easy to accidentally hit one of the controller buttons? is it difficult to use the shoulder buttons with it on?
I own the original small snap on keyboard. I tend to chat and write quite often and I must say the mini keyboard is GREAT. It adds a small ammount of weight to the controller but not much. It stays far away from the shoulder buttons and doesn't interfere with normal gaming, it's easy to forget it's snapped onto the controller. It has it's own battery, and USB so it doesn't effecct the controllers life at all. Intact the keyboard lasts for over a week when fully charged. I'd strongly recommend picking it up.

Can I get Gibson guitars to build me a modified version of the Epiphone prophecy?
I want to create my dream guitar.
I found the look that I want it based around, but its an epiphone. I want Gibson to make me one.
Dream guitar I plan on building
Based around a textured black or cherry black les paul.
Silver hardware
inbuilt Z.Vex fuzz factory
inbuilt Fernandez Sustainer
Ebony neck
Seymour Duncans.
How can I get this done, and if not by gibson, who?
apologies for not knowing much about how gibson or modifying guitars works.
Gibson will not modify an Epiphone. They will build you a Gibson in their custom shop, but not mod one of the import guitars.
Your best bet is to buy the basic guitar you want and have a luthier do the custom work for you. There's going to be quite a bit of routing required to add the Z.Vexx and Fenandez devices (and possibly a new cover plate made for the control cavity.
You didn't specify which Seymour Duncan pickups, but that's no big deal to change out.

Replacing Tuners and Pickgaurd on the new Gretsch Electromatic Hollowbody?
Hey everyone. Has anyone checked out this guitar? its amazing and a really good price for a Gretsch but it has this horrible clear pickguard and those old school tuners where the strings have to be cut perfectly and stuck inside. i hate that! ha. thanks in advance. matt.
After reading a number of reviews on the Electromatics, it seems a lot of people don't like the tuners or pickguard either. I'd check into some Gotoh, Grover or Sperzel tuners. For custom pickguards, just use Google to search:

I'd definitely stay away from Multi-Effects units. But that's really about personal taste. For my money, you will never get the tone from a multi-effects unit that you can from good quality pedals.
Having said that, you're loaded up with Boss effects which are hardly "good quality pedals". Some Boss pedals are very good, but many are .... not.
Note: Not all Boss pedals are digital. Some are analog. On your board, you have some digital pedals and some analog. Whether or not it's digital won't have an impact on your tone when the pedal is switched off. The fact that Boss pedals are not True Bypass will have an effect, but whether or not they are digital will not.
Whether or not what you have is a decent set up, is entirely dependent upon what you're going for. You have an awful lot of pedals on there which will definitely have a detrimental effect on your overall tone. Contrary to what the fellow above me says, you probably don't want to mod your pedals to true bypass. Boss pedals are notoriously difficult to modify for True Bypass.
