Is it possible to loose half a stone in 4 days?
I have a problem with my weight, and really need to loose some after a phase of binges. Is it possible and if so, how, to loose weight in 4 days? And if so, how much if i exercised a lot and ate little?
Sensibly, no - short of amputation (and that's not sensible). You could just take fluids for 4 days and maybe drop half that weight, but not 7lbs.
Some say only eating proteins (lean meats, eggs) give rise to weight loss.

How do you get a locked gas cap off if you don't have your key?
I took my car to a mechanic to get my transmission checked out.
He fixed a few things on it ,but needed to order a modulater valve.
He said he have it ready the next moring so my husband could take
me by there to pick it up and go on to work.
That was 3 weeks ago.. We didn't know if it was alright to drive or what-kept
calling him and leaving messages-messag full. He has just vanished....
He's had his mechanic shop for many years and has a good reputatiion.
Anyway, I left my keys with him and gas cap key is on the keyring. We drove
the car out of his lot, but couldn't make it home-no gas

you can pick the lock with some thick wire and small pocket knife

Is Fender Blues Deluxe better than Fender Hot Rod for Jazz?
do u guys think that blues deluxe sounds a lot warmer than hot rod?
I'm not sure about the "newer" Blues Deluxe
I have an early one (early '90's)
but I think it does sound a little warmer, than the Hot Rod,
though they are both very similar.

What is a good metal distortion pedal?
I have been looking at the following as options:
-DigiTech Hardwire TL-2 Metal Distortion
-MXR M116 Fullbore Metal Distortion
-Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff with Top Boost
-Boss MT-2 Metal Zone
I am currently using an Epiphone Les Paul standard as my guitar. I need an affordable pedal, but I need a pedal that doesn't just sound like hiss or static. Some of my favorite metal bands/influences include Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Megadeth, and Bullet For My Valentine to name just a few. Any past experience with these pedals or personal preferences are greatly appreciated.
Out of all of those, I'd buy the Metal Muff first. I wouldn't even touch the DigiTech stuff... other than the Whammy, nothing DigiTech ever made has wowed me.
The trick to really nice distortion is EQ though. Stick a nice EQ in front of your distortion (maybe the BOSS GE-7 or the MXR M109 or 108). Have a friend play your guitar while you play around with the EQ and the tone stack on your amp (just set everything in the middle of the distortion pedal for now). You'll learn a lot more about how to dial-in a killer distortion tone this way.
A couple you may want to consider are the classic DS-1, TubeScreamer, Rat, and the regular Big Muff Pi. Most of the bands you mentioned use those, not the "metal" pedals.
