Which Guitar effect pedal is the best of the best? Ever use any of them?, if so which is better?
I am looking for a perfect heavy metal guitar effect pedal for myself and can't decide what brand. Which is worth buying? Any other good brands? Thanks.

Boss MT-2 sounds bad, Ive never liked it.
If your going for the death metal, just buy the digitech, its the same thing as the DOD just easier to find. You will nine outta ten need to also buy a noise suppressor, I used to have one of these.Badass, but noise noise noise.I remember that I could get extremely high, sharp notes outta this pedal, so if thats what ya want, go.I also recall being able to get a near perfect Nirvana sound if you roll the volume of your guitar back, which threw me off.(i was using a bc rich bronze warlock through a peavey amp at the time)
I havent tried any of the new digitech pedals though, so I cant help you there.
I tried the old Rat distortions, and couldnt get anything outta them that I found usable.If you throw them through a marshall stack though, they seem to do a lot better then my setup allowed.
Theres a few good mxr distortions, like the Wylde one, the doubleshot is made by them too I believe, so you could use the pedal for lead boosts, but Ive only heard others use this.The wylde sounded pretty good.
Guyatone distortion is pretty suck.Lots of bass.
Rocktron has the zombie rectified, thats ones pretty bawls out, and they also have a metal planet, which I use. Its basically the same set up as the metal zone, but the clarity is a lot better, and I can get a decent range of tones.
Then theres the muffs, there are like four versions of that thing if Im counting right.The only one I liked was the metal muff, and thats another pedal with a built in boost.
Besides distortion You can also get an mxr boost pedal, its simple to use with one knob, and easy to find.And if you have/get a distortion thats heavy but you just cant seem to dial in the tone you want Id just get a ten band eq pedal, I personally like mxr's myself. Better then searching for a pedal with everything.And if you get a noise supressor boss makes the best pedal, rocktron apparently has a nice old rackmount that certain people swear by, and the mxr pedal is ok, but nowhere near as good as the boss pedal.

What does a lightning bolt symbol near the temperature gauge on my 2007 honda civic mean?
A few weeks ago I noticed a tiny lightning bolt symbol to the right of my temperature reading on my 2007 Honda Civic sedan. I asked my Honda dealer if they knew anything about it and I got no answers.
I'd suggest taking it to the SERVICE department at the dealer you bought it from and demand answers. I'm sure it's still under warranty so they should have no problem helping you. I'm guessing it means low voltage/amps etc. maybe a battery going bad? Good luck!

Can I use my bass guitar through a Behringer SF300 Fuzz pedal?
I have a Dean Metalman ML (I wanted the Z, but I couldn't buy it) It has a single humbucker. I want a pedal to rich the godly sound of Cliff Burton in the "day in the Green". I think that this fuzz can achieve this, but I'm wandering if a guitar fuzz, the SF300 (Behringer) to be exact, will, at first, suit it, and, secondly, if it can achieve such a sound.
Well, Burton used a Morley Fuzz Wah, an EHX Big Muff, and an Ibanez Tubescreamer to get his sound, all of which are guitar pedals. However, just because this Behringer is a guitar pedal doesn't mean it'll nail Burton's tone.
There's no reason you can't use guitar effects with a bass, but because they're designed for the frequencies a guitar puts out, they might not always sound cool on a bass. You'd have to actually play it with your bass and your amp to know whether it'll sound good.
I strongly encourage you to look at a Big Muff, though. I have one and they sound phenomenal on a bass.

Found a piece of steel with markings..?
I found a piece of stainless steel underground in my yard. It is 4 inches long and 1.75 inches in height and .75 inches in width. It has markings on the front that say KP20 PAT PEND. It is kind of rectangular in shape. On one side it has something that looks sort of like a bolt head with a marking of 20B. It looks like it may be part of a gun.
Any ideas?
Yeah, get it tested for radiation, like, now.
You can get cancer from radiation from scrap bits of metal used in certain industries.
If it passes, then I say make it into some sort of bracelet / arm cuff.
