Can I refuse to have a body scan going thru airport security?
I don't mind sniffer, metal detector or pat down. But I don't want to have a body scan. Too much of a violation of my privacy.

WoW, Is this how to get better gear?
Somebody told me that the gear I was working with was not good for my level 45 Hunter, and suggested that I run through instances around my level. WIll running through these portals/instances give me better gear? And what did he mean by, "running them until the majority of your gear is blue?"
Running instances will give you better gear however:
At level 45, your gear doesn't really matter all that much. If you want to run instances because you enjoy it, great. Otherwise, you don't have to grind instances whilst leveling- What you have will usually be good enough. The only thing I'd really bother replacing is my bow if it is easily upgraded and mine was more than 5 levels lower than me..
You will want to look for gear that has agility, stamina, attack power, crit rating, and maybe a little intellect- But intellect isn't a priority.
-Of the Monkey greens are good until Outland, then -Of the Bandit is pretty good.
Not all your gear always has to be blue- again, don't worry about it too much until higher levels.

The GCB-95 is good. There are some easy mods you can do to improve the pedal too. My only complaint is the highs tend to get a bit shrill, but theres somethings you can do to get rid of it.
I heard Vox has some nice Wahs too.

Do guitar strings have a shelf life?
I have a Yahama steel string acoustic. I bought Dean Markley Bronze acoustic strings Lite guage about 4 years ago. Will they still sound the same as if I bought the same strings today? They've been in the package since then. I'm on a really tight budget, btw.
I suppose you're wondering about things like oxidation and stuff. If they'd been in the package they should be fine. Actually, even if you took them all out and left them sitting on a shelf, the only noticeable difference would be a slight discoloration and a bit of dust. They're fine to use since they haven't been tightened up to tuning spec and stretched yet. Remember - the regular use of a good string cleaner will prolong the life of the strings even further.

When you get a new boss, should you defend the way your old boss used to do things?
Here is the problem- the big boss is new and tells me what to do. I told my manager that he goes over her head, but two people at my level have quit because of the style change. I need my job.
Tough situation
Workplaces are like the military, strict chain of command. Some up higher says to do something and its not illegal you HAVE to do it or its insubordination and you can get canned.
I'd just be open with your boss and inform him/her each time it happens. You MUST do what the big boss says, you SHOULD however comment and make suggestions...they are paying you for your opinion I'd imagine.
Lots of times new bosses are just different and you have to get used to their style. Don't be surprised if everyone is gone our of your area (including you) by the time it is over, lots of managers "make it over in their image (must be an ego thing)" and want to pick their own people
