Arm Wall

stand with one arm and the side of one foot pressed against a wall. can u raise the other leg side ways?

if not then why not?

Good question. But an experiment is worth a thousand theories. Have you experimented? Have you tried it? What happens? What forces, if any, did you feel? Which way, if any, were they acting?

Hint: Think of your one foot on the ground as a fulcrum and the weight of your raised leg acting over some radius between the raised leg and the foot.
